Vice President, Karl Scheib
Karl Scheib moved to Prescott from Denver 3 years ago after successfully selling his business to semi- retire.
He has over 30 years of experience as a successful business owner and contractor. Karl currently holds an AZ R-45 contractor license and owns Gutter Helmet NAZ. He held a US Building Code Certificate for 15 years. He has proven experience in hiring and negotiating with contractors. For fun Karl enjoys cars, off-roading, shooting and taking care of his WVR property. |
Treasurer, Barbara Peterson
Barbara Peterson is a recent transplant to Arizona. She recently retired after 25 years with the IRS as a Revenue Agent in International Compliance. She is also a veteran having served in the US Army. Barbara’s hobbies include visiting her grandchildren in California, gardening, traveling, hiking and shooting. She is happy to be in Arizona and loving retirement.

Secretary, Mike Jors
During Mike’s 32-year career as a firefighter he spent 4 years in the Air Force working in fire suppression with the Flying Tigers, 6 years with San Diego FD and the last 22 years with Camp Pendleton FD. He worked on the board of his union as their Secretary & Treasurer. Michael moved to the ranch in 2020, having visited the area since 2000 with his wife Lori.

Board Member, Brian Keller
Brian is currently on the Road Committee. He was born in Louisville Kentucky but raised in Torrance California. Brian and his wife Sandy decided to move here in the spring of 2017. They started building our house on Friendly Meadow Road a year later. He worked in the aerospace industry (TRW) as an industrial electrician for 25 years. He enjoys restoring classic cars, fishing and exploring the land around us in our off-road vehicle. He pretty much likes to do anything as long as it’s outdoors. All three of his children now live here in the Prescott area so this will be home forever

Board Member, Michael Schwartz
Michael is currently on the Road Committee He moved here 4 years ago from NW Illinois with his wife and Border Collies. He had a kitchen design business for more than 20 years before retiring. He enjoys hiking looking for petroglyph & ruins. Currently Michael delivers Meals on Wheels 2-3 times a week and does therapy dog & hospice work.

Board Member, John Arietta
John Arietta is retired from the US Navy after 40 years.
With 30 years in base Construction, Maintenance and Operation in a variety of positions from Supervisor, General Forman, Maintenance Superintendent, and Public Works Officer. Oversight of Construction, Maintenance, and Operational capabilities were daily responsibilities at Naval Base Coronado, NAF El Centro and Naval Medical Center San Diego. Prior experience was shipboard Nuclear Refueling. We had been trying to move a “little east” for many years with both our boys beating us to AZ. In 2020 we purchased a nice home on Chuckwalla Rd and became full time AZ dwellers in 2021. My Hobbies are spending time with our sons, a Police officer in Scottsdale, and Dentist in Prescott Valley, restoring old cars, and doing a little traveling with my wife, Dorie of 38 years. |
Board Member, Bob Wood
My name is Robert Wood and my wife, Debbie, and I have been residents of Williamson Valley for almost thirty years. I retired from Yavapai County Public Works as a Road Foreman 10 years ago. My crew was responsible for paving residential roads in Yavapai County. We have owned property in Williamson Valley Ranch for over 15 years and are finally getting around to building a new home on L Bar L road and look forward to moving in soon.

Board Member, Michael Chuck
Michael is an 8-year resident of WVR. Mike was a Fire Captain and was with LA County Fire Dept. 35 years serving as a leader, decision maker, team player, coordinator, planner, and organizer. He trained the hazardous materials division Firefighters. He served 5 years on the Board of Director for the Explorer Fire Academy and 3 years on the Board for Rescue Youth serving underprivileged children.
